A student may opt to submit an extra
credit project such as a research paper if it is felt that the
overall semester grade may be short of expectation. An extra-credit
project may improve the final grade by up to 3 quality points,
for example form a B to an A. If the project grade:
A = improve final grade by 3 quality points
B = improve final grade by 2 quality points
C = improve final grade by 1 quality points
D = will not improve the final grade
Extra credit project proposals must be submitted
in writing and discussed in person by mid-semester or as approved
by the professor. No extra credit projects will be approved after
Session 10.
