Dissertation Abstracts. Covers the complete range of academic
subjects appearing in dissertations accepted at accredited institutions
since 1861.
Early English Books Online. EEBO reproduces over 125,000 books,
pamphlets and broadsides published in English between 1475 and 1700.
Encyclopedia of Religion. A searchable version of the 16 volume
print resource.
Historical Abstracts. Contains citations and abstracts to
literature published since 1967 on the history of the world (excluding
the United States and Canada) from 1450 to the present.
Index of Christian Art. A thematic and iconographic index
of early Christian and medieval art objects.
LEXIS-NEXIS Academic Universe. Provides access to a wide range
of domestic and international news, business, and legal information
sources. Includes some full text. Some sources date back as far as
the 1970s, however, the majority of sources are indexed from the early
1990s to present.
Logos Bible Atlas. Bible map software which allows for viewing
geography of the Bible lands as well as creating maps for use in presentations.
Logos Bible Software. A biblical concordance and linguistic
tool which includes 15 Bible texts and translations as well as several
biblical reference tools.
Martin Luther: Exploring His Life and Times, 1483-1546. Each
section, organized around Luther's life and thought, contains narrated
and written text, graphics, animation, photographs, music and chronologies.
Master Christian Library. Provides the full text of over 400
resources including bibles, commentaries, dictionaries and historical
works.
New Grove Dictionary of Music & Musicians. The dictionary
covers all aspects of music, including composers, performers, terminology,
musical genres and forms, and more. It is international in scope,
and covers both classical and popular music. Bibliographies, images,
sound files, and links to related sites are provided for many articles.
New Oxford Annotated Biblical Reference Library. Includes
the complete text and translational footnotes of the NRSV as well
as essays, explanation, commentary, and maps.
New Testament Abstracts. A standard work for finding abstracts
for articles about the New Testament. This CD-ROM only contains the
years 1988 through 1998.
Old Testament Abstracts. A primary resource of bibliographic
information for the study of the Hebrew Bible. Indexes journal articles,
books, collected essays and Festschriften; 1992 to date.
On Common Ground: World Religions in America. Provides an
overview of America's many religious traditions through text, images,
voices, and music.
Oxford English Dictionary. The online OED contains the full-text
of the 20-volume second edition and the three additions published
between 1993 and 1997. Revised entries will be added quarterly. For
an introduction, visit the Guided Tour.
Past Masters. Contains classic scholarly editions of the complete
works of selected philosophers including Aquinas, Calvin, and Luther's
Sermons.
Proquest. Provides online access to an extensive collection
of published material. You can search for information in thousands
of different journals, newspapers, and magazines.
United Methodist Worship Library. Contains the full-text United
Methodist Hymnal and United Methodist Book of Worship as well as other
music and worship resources.
Works of John Wesley. A searchable version of the 14 volume
edition of The Works of the Rev. John Wesley edited by Thomas Jackson.
Zondervan Image Archives. Includes 5,000 color photos of Bible
and church history sites and artifacts.
