Here are the individual class piano lab products which we have available. Although we can provide almost any keyboard product from Roland, Yamaha, Casio, and M-Audio, here are products which we feel are the most practical and TESTED in real class piano lab situations and which will meet almost any budget.

Roland: The MP-70 is designed in a studio or "spinet" cabinet. Casio: The PX-310. 88 keys, 202 preset sounds including acoustic pianos, electric pianos, organ, strings, etc., MIDI. Built-in speakers, sustain pedal. We recommend the optional CS-66P/65P stand and pedal unit. A great keyboard if you're on a budget. Keyboard AND STAND. Does not include bench. The ideal piano for elementary school and private studio class piano labs. The most economical full 88-note class piano lab keyboard. These keyboards are rugged, PROFESSIONAL keyboards and will standup to continued use in a class piano lab, especially for elementary classes. Includes power adapter. Does not include sustain pedal. The heart of Roland's class piano lab is the RCS-848 Lab Conferencing System. The RCS-848 can be configured in groups of 8 for complete flexibility. Consequently, Labs can be designed for as few as 4-8 workstations or as many as 48. List price on RCS-848 BASIC system (8 students; 1 teacher):

Roland RCS-848 Student Headphone Connection Box. One of these is attached to each keyboard in the Lab and it allows 2-way communication between student and teacher. External audio equipment (such as an external MIDI module) may also be connected through the system via this connection box. Two sets of headphones can be connected at the same time which would allow two students to play together at one keyboard (duets, etc.). List price: $215.00 each |

The heart of Yamaha's class piano lab is the LC2 Plus Music Lab Conferencing System.The LC2 can be configured in groups of 8 for complete flexibility. Consequently, Labs can be designed for as few as 4-8 workstations or as many as 48. List price on the LC2 BASIC system (8 students; 1 teacher):$3495.00 List price on the LC2 Expansion Kits (8 additional students
each): $1759.00 *Yamaha is in the process of updating the LC2 and it will not be available for at least 5 months. The new version will probably be called, "LC3". Sorry for this inconvenience! In the meantime, please consider the Roland, RCS-848 (see above). The Yamaha and Roland designs and capabilities are virutally identical because they are both manufactured by JL Cooper Electonics. |

On Stage KT7800 Keyboard Bench. Deluxe Adjustable Padded Bench. List price: $48.00 Other benches are available. However, we find that this style bench holds up well in regular class piano use. Traditional benches with thumb screws in each corner easily come loose and legs break off. |
